Plan is still to shoot in Q3/Q4 this year, for a Fall 2021 premiere
Lalo is either dead or very far away from Albuquerque during the events of Breaking Bad, but how might he have fared against Heisenberg?
“Who knows?” says Gilligan. “That might have been a bridge too far for Walter White.”
“I think the landing is going to get stuck,” the normally self-effacing Gilligan predicts, crediting the work Gould has done during Gilligan’s extended absences. “He’s going to stick the landing. It’s going to be awesome, it’s going to be satisfying. It may be more of a wait for it, but it’s going to be worth the wait. That’s the headline.”
Gould is more measured: “My short version is: We’re going to try not to screw it up.”
i love how theyre both so humble but hype each other up

So from the creators mouth’s themselves.

vince already said that after bcs is done ppl will say it might be better than bb's ending

this s*** gonna absolutely shatter us
one thing I hope is that going into the finale people are willing to be a bit flexible in terms of the way they close up the gap in the chronology.
like, what I worry is that the show will end on the note it wants to end on, with its focus exactly where it should be for BCS, but some people get all caught up that there are things that don't sit prefectly with BB
I can see some fans like picking apart that one scene in BB with Saul mentioning Ignacio and Lalo, and finding some kind of problem with however they choose to end things with those characters ("oh why does Saul ask if Lalo sent them when he's aware that Lalo's dead??" or "why would he try and put the blame on Ignacio when they made an agreement" or whatever things happen at the end of all this)
basically I just hope people are comfortable accepting BCS's ending as its own thing, and that they don't immediately start worrying about some kind of "super timeline" which might not line up 100%

i feel u but i think we'll be okay tbh
if people watch the first 5 seasons and are still care so much about the breaking bad tie-ins thats their fault tbh

yeah true I mean at this point people should know what they're in for in terms of the quality and the artistry at hand
if they want something that spends every second scene tying into the BB timeline they've got El Camino for that

Yeah I agree this is the best way to approach it but I am hopeful and confident they will tie up the timeline loose ends appropriately. No reason to doubt them. Their attention to detail has always been immaculate so far and they're certainly aware of the timeline better than anyone.

Peter and Vince have yet to fail me. Even if i don’t connect with an episode immediately, i tend to look back on it with a lot more perspective on it.
I trust they will take their time and end this in the best possible way they can do it
vince already said that after bcs is done ppl will say it might be better than bb's ending
Wouldn’t doubt it.
But like i had said in my BB Season 5 Review.
Season 6 is gonna have to go above and beyond to even come close to matching that quality with it’s ending.
Not gonna lie I love rooting for the bad guy
That shot of lalo crawling down the tunnel had me hyped lol

I know man. I respect that nacho has done what he has and made it this far tho
Amazing how well they have developed their characters that I'm sure we would all like Kim, Nacho, and Lalo to survive.
vince already said that after bcs is done ppl will say it might be better than bb's ending
It’s already a lot better than BB imo
