I loved the trailers and hype for El Camino so much

People say ‘came and went’ sooo much, to corny levels. But that thing really did come and go.

I actually liked it too

It was an epilogue, Jesse's story is done and that's it. No fan speculation or anything to be done

yeah I think so much of the hype and lead-in was based on people expecting we'd be surprised by what happened

but once the film (which is a good piece of cinema mind you and one I've learned to appreciate more as time's gone on) came out it didn't really do anything surprising, so there was only really a few days to a week's worth of discussion to be had and everyone was done with it

it's kind of a shame like they clearly put a lot of effort and love into it but it's just one of those things I guess, fanbase just kind of collectively shrugged its shoulders and said "oh, that's what happened next to Jesse..."

Daaaamn I just realized I still haven't seen the latest season. I must've gone through 2020 thinking this show was on hiatus or something. I'm excited to catch up

Hyped af f*** for this, but also really excited to see what these guys do next after this has ended. They are the best tv writers in the game. Hoping for the next big thing.
