there's actually a short that was done during season 4 for memory with the Kettlemans, the dad gets off a prison bus with other inmates to pick up trash on a highway, meanwhile the wife and kid(s) have a picnic across the street on a s***ty patch of grass just so that they can wave to their dad

Theres a theory that shes still around in the Gene era but thats not possible because Ed wouldnt extract two people at the same time and definitely not to the same place
