lalo is so f***ing smart man
but gus smarter
They’re pretty neck and neck. I’m loving it. Nacho was Gus’s ace in the hole

lalo would never accidentally knock over a glass with a water pitcher tho :elon:
so that truck nacho was supposed to hop in from the motel was never coming right? mike leaving the paper with the motel phone # in nacho's safe for bolsa to find, seems like gus wanted it to happen
but if they're tryna find out who nacho is working for why wouldn't gus be sending one of his own men to silence nacho instead?

Best depiction of PTSD on TV?
AMC makes you subscribe to a separate service to watch this on demand
which is why trackers exist

Actually a very good point.
Bit poorly written now I think about it. Gus should know they're always gonna try and interrogate him. Played himself
Also thought that casually tossing the flask away was pretty dumb/out of character. Especially considering the paranoia Kim and Jimmy had at the end of last season after Lalo's visit, even going so far to stay at a hotel.
Plus not sure how Bolsa just instantly clocked onto Nach being a rat. It was an impromptu trip to Mexico they took, at least as far as I recall.
Had hoped Lalo would be able to play dead a little longer. But it makes sense for Gus to be suspicious when all the mercenaries are dead. And I guess he just knows that the animosity between Hector and himself is too strong so there's definitely something up when Hector so politely 'makes peace'

if salamanca found out someone else killed nacho instead of it being 1 of them they would get suspicious about it bc that would mean someones trying to silence him
its actually written insanely well but i had to think about it for a lil aswell
Its crazy how this show makes you feel scared for characters you know are gonna survive

Yeah no I agree with that 100%. But Gus should be smart enough to figure that they are gonna interrogate Nacho without a doubt. Really Gus should have just gotten Nacho out of there and out the country asap

Thats also true
but he didnt want nacho to know he was setting him up, he wanted nacho to think theyre still helping him and then hope he stays loyal as he had been forever bc if nacho spoke then his dad is in danger yk

Ah true. Very good point. Yeah Nacho would know that if he says anything about Gus then his dad is as good as dead

i mean yeah, but also the idea of a group killing off one of their men because dead men tell no tales and such doesn't incriminate gus specifically lol. all he'd know is whoever set him up killed nacho before he could get it out of him, and he'd have nothing more to go on
he'd still be spying on gus for sure, but he'd just be where he was last season but way more pissed off lol
ngl lydia already doing it for me as is lol
need me a crazy b**** who'll get me killed, and she's looking the part
Lydia was like Stephanie McMahon sexy
It’s a certain niche

Tyrus told Nacho to shoot anybody that came to that door. Gus was hoping that sending the Salamancas to where he was at would cause a gunfight ending with Nachos death. It is indeed a bad play by Gus bc he did not anticipate Nacho figuring out he was being set up
screw bolsa, screw eladio, i'm coming north. i'm gonna hurt him, hurt him like you taught me, then i'm going to kill him.
this delivery fr so perfect

but salamancas are already suspicious and consider him a rat. Why would it surpise them that someone killed him off to protect themselves? :khaled:
