Saul was a funny ass dude in breaking bad, in this show not so much he's kind of an old grouch

And kim stalking Howard really ain't that compelling. Just kinda sad and dumb

Yeah but Mike seems to have some moral code

Part of it involves being loyal to the dudes he works for

The extent of his moral code is feeling bad about it, he tried to get nacho cut loose several times

Moral code saved Nachitos dad. Imagine telling to Nacho on phone "if anybody goes to your dad he have to go through with me" in a room with Gus himself and his henchman.

I also feel like Saul & Kim story going way too slow at the moment , we're in just ep 3 and now Nacho subplot over I expect twisted games from Kim saul for rest of the season.

reducing Kim and Saul’s storyline to “stalking Howard” is really silly

I feel this but Mike tried several times over the years to get Nacho out of this even with his views on getting in the game.

Also Mike had already taken Papa’s ID/Passport so i assume wheels were already in motion to keep him safe which was the most important thing
