Jimmy as Howard had me crine
the fact that they edited the trailer in a way to make it seem like howard was building a case against jimmy and had all this undercover s*** following them for that all to be wrong is why i love the creators of this show
also pretty sure we have seen every shot that was in the trailer now
there's this one of Howard in a boxing ring and he says something like it's just me and you

They got 9 eps left to:
1) wrap up this ridiculous kim stalks Howard storyline
2) lalo vs gus
3) the emergence of saul Goodman
4) THE ENTIRE BREAKING BAD TIMELINE
5) whatever happens or doesn't happen to kim
6) the post breaking bad gene stuff
And considering what a snails pace they ve moved at the entire show it stands to reason some ridiculous cramming/crunching will probably take place lol
Stuff that would have likely been more compelling then some of the filler this show crawled and continues to crawl thru.
They could literally end all that in 3 episodes if they wanted to.
Yall acting like we are in the end of the season when we barely even started.
Also this is technically the first episode if you think about it. The first 3 were focused mostly on Nachos story.
first convo between kim and mike, saul getting his office, saul becoming famous as the criminal lawyer and yall wanna call it filler
freaking nerds man go watch the walking dead or sum
you'll call me crazy but that scene of Gus taking his ankle holster off might be one of my favorite moments across both shows
hes literally just a guy for these few seconds

My point is they take their sweet time with every little subplot and they have SO MUCH to get through, so if they keep this up we could get some game of thrones level cramming towards the end
Speculation sure but that's what this thread is for

Still got the slim bullet proof vest on tho
Goddamnit, still no Lalo
This episode was hilarious though.
Almost made me forget Nacho only just died one episode prior :cryfam:

No doubt there's an insane amount of dangling threads to address.
But never for a second am I worried that they don't know what they're doing pace wise. They're the best

Who is “yall”? That’s the only dude who’s disappointed lol
That long take with Gus going down into the basement and revealing the connecting tunnel was pure
When his body double walked past him
Yeah last nights episode was pretty weak in comparison to the last 3 tbh
My least favorite episode of the season so far
Goddamnit, still no Lalo

When the Jaguar came speeding around the corner and we see Cliff's reaction I almost lost my s***

I respect the faith
The writers seem aware of this howard stuff just being petty regressive s*** kim and saul are doing before they eventually realize and confront the deep s*** they are headed for. But they can also make this point without spending the amount of time on it that they are, which is what i think WT701 is trying to get at.
I think its not as much fun because we've seen this playful scammy s*** in the early seasons and it seems out of place now but that also is the point, like a rest in peace to the contradictions saul was living. It's just sad.
Now he will have to commit and you cant do that without a creating a situation that harkens back to his earlier days while placing him in a high stake situation.
Mike in that scene with kim kinda dismisses it as kiddie games as well so that does reveal the perspective writers have. The payoff should be good i think.
Saul and Kim's clown show act must be so entertaining for gus hired guns to watch lmao, they prolly used to mad boring stake outs and with them they see ludicrous stuff like saul in dressup pretending to toss hookers out the car and s***

Must be weird AF to report all that to Mike. "Yeah, so he stole a car, picked up a hooker then tossed her out the car....later we saw his wife go and pay that hooker"
