No lie I had a feeling Kim was going to die or get into another car accident this episode when I saw the beginning.

to get a better understanding of Kim having to grow up quicker then the average kid, might be significant in terms of showing the dynamic between Kim and Jimmy’s relationship, she’s always the more morale and mature of the couple but she had always wanted to sling a little bit of mud too and never got to feel that way until Jimmy.
