Lalo thinks of Saul when he sees the cockroach in the sewer because he previously has compared saul to a cockroach... but that would mean he decided to go visit jimmy after placing the fake threat on the tap? so is it purely coincidental that he got lucky they got pulled off jimmy whereas his initial plan was to pull them from the laundry?

i was rly just thinking out loud.. initially i thought he was intending to go to jimmy all along and was pulling detail off of him but he rly only thinks of jimmy after seeing the cockroach so his only intention was to pull them away from the laundry.

I don't think that was his intention, he did it, saw that he had hella guards there, I'm assuming he figured he would have guards in all the other places he'd want to go, and upon seeing the cockroach he decided to go to Saul for whatever reason

He knows what to do now to get them to leave the laundry, if that's what you mean.. I'm sure that will play into his plan.. doubt the next episode plays out during the same night but who knows

on the tap he tells tio that he didnt find anything and that he'd just go after gus so they have no reason to think he'd go to the laundry, i think that was what he was planning to do until he sees the cockroach
