Sopranos my all time fave show ending

absolutely but don’t expect a breaking bad type show

just immerse yourself in the BCS world and the BB related scenes will be that much more rewarding when they come

I personally don’t find it slow. But majority of people would say the first two seasons are “slow”

Those first two seasons are mainly character focused and a lawyer drama compared to seasons 3-6

I feel like if at any point you ever found BB slow, you’ll feel like BCS’s default state is a slow as the slowest parts of that show. If you never found BB slow, you’ll think, oh, this is just more BB. A little more lowkey, but yeah, I’ll take some of that.

I think they’re the heart of the show. Also, what Jessie is to Walt, Kim is to Saul. The show is built upon these relationships. We want them to do their dance, as toxic as they are for each other.

Feel you. But Lalo and Kim are two different character types.

I think the impact of an ending for a character like Lalo would never be his death just because he’s always on deaths door anyway. So his death being what it was still worked (for me at least) because of everything else surrounding it.

But Kim on the other hand exists in a different space where killing her would be typically “shocking” but also too predictable at this point and wouldnt really do anything to serve her already interesting story. They already did that with Howard but his story was over for one, but also his death will be crucial for Jimmy but more importantly Kim. More than just a typical fridge kill .

Yeah if she was gonna die she woulda got shot up by Lalo or gus goons

Feel like death is off the table unless they jump the shark and give her a nonsensical end like a guilt ridden suicide, which would be stupid af

Only way she dying imo is if she and Gene go out together at the end.

Either way her ending is 100% tied up with Jimmy/Gene.

She surpassed a supporting role years ago. They wouldnt or shouldnt give her a cheap out just to serve Jimmy’s character who’s basically already fully developed.

also they teased earlier in the season that saul would get the vet's book but that hasn't happened yet, perhaps tonight?

I just feel like if Kim dies, Saul just spirals downward, and we’ve already seen that story. I think there needs to be the possibility of redemption to keep things interesting. And with Kim, her whole deal is like, I’m gonna stay with this guy as much as you tell me I shouldn’t. She likes being bad with Saul, it makes her feel alive. If they kill her, it’s just like, oh, yeah, shouldn’t have been with the bad boy. But the show is smarter than that.

Word and not only have we seen that done really well before with Chuck, imo it would make Jimmy way less interesting in retrospect. I really enjoy how Chuck and Kim tie into his motivations through the series and how the loss of Chuck and corruption of Kim change that over time.

Where we are now with the weird Lady Macbeth thing they built with Kim and Jimmy makes the Saul life a lot more compelling and kinda tragic.

Jimmy gets vet guys book
Kim leaves
