Chicanery is a better episode for me in terms of story and dialogue.

Yes, but the pedal was NEVER off the gas for a single second right from the beginning. I mean the mf caught his first body by the second or third episode. They didn’t spend 2-3 seasons showing him be a regular boring ass teacher teaching classes. They got straight to it.

I love the show. And it’s been great multiple times. But to deny that this was so far the peak would be straight up incorrect.

I think that’s pretty subjective my guy. Season 3 personally for me on a narrative level was their best season. So Season 5 being their peak is debatable, although i don’t fault anyone for preferring the season

BCS is not obligated to be a thriller drama in order to be at it’s peak.
