coming to the end of the show, as much as i have enjoyed it immensely and it's looking like almost a flawless finish, i cant help but feel a restraint.
i do wish this season was split into two complete seasons, the fleshing out of the details would have been perfect, i love the slow burnn!!!
not to say its paced unwell cause i dont feel lost or anything, they'll wrap it up still leaving no strings attached im sure
It's just jarring cuz they dragged out the pace for 5 seasons only to go on a speed run to wrap everything up at the very end lmao
"The schedule changed, understandably, and as a result, Don Harvey was no longer available to play Jeff. So you recast the role with Pat Healy. Did you have to rewrite the character at all to account for what Pat brought to the part?
We did not rewrite for Pat at all. When I was writing, we didn’t know that the casting would change, so we didn’t know enough about the differences between the two actors or who we would necessarily have. So it was written with the original Jeffie in mind, and what Pat then brought to it, we found really compelling. He took exactly what was written and made it his own."
New Jeff brought the stiff doofy swag confirmed, lmfao at that dweeb that claimed the actors just do exactly what the writers tell them, I rest my case

You wanted them to drag the cartel storyline even more?
Gus lowkey the worst part about BCS

That was wrapped cleanly, it's more Jimmy getting dumped right after, and BOOM he's suddenly saul and then BOOM we re in gene times that feels rushed compared to rest of show, screams '"this is our last season so we gotta so what we gotta do"

gus and mike arcs were in pretty much perfect detail
but all in all, after so many years of build up on the gene timeline, it really does feel they've made do with what they could... last three eps will most likely be a mix of BB era and Gene but fleshing out these segements, and letting it breath in the world of the show, just like it has always done would have been a lot better

The Gus character got ruined for me because of Giancarlo being typecasted to do the same thing on virtually every role he has had after BB. It didn’t help that we didn’t feel any real tension for Gus or Mike too.
The Cartel storyline was the weakest link for me. I hate how they resolved the Nacho and Lalo storylines. Waste of great characters because of the limitations the writers had cause of BB

I liked the timeskip after Kim leaves him, we didn’t need exposition of Jimmy crying/being depressed. There wasn’t much left to tell in the prequel timeline, all the story lines were closed. Sometimes is best to leave things to imagination
And we don’t know if we are done with the BB timeline yet

Great EP
Then who's saying "okay?"
It has to be him talking to Marion, it definitely sounds like her.
I wonder where Gene is going.. like how does he get around? Does he have a car or what lol I haven't seen that explained anywhere.
perfect avi
It's unfortunate the writers got Cold feet and were so in love with the Jimmy character that they didn't bring in saul when originally intended
At least one full season of him as saul sleazing it up with the underbelly of alberquerque with Huell before Walter white entered the picture woulda been dope
anybody seen that 'nobody' movie bob odenkirk did?
is it any good?
I fell asleep to it, watched first hour. Alot of ppl like it but to me it was pretty meh, great value john wick
