Another interpretation, is Jimmy saving up money to make some sort of big move coming up and not just doing these con jobs out of being fed up and relapsing to old habits? He is very desperate to risk it with the cancer victim. Usually, in the past, he does show restraint and caution when a curveball comes into the plan.
But I also believe he could have said f\*\*\* it after being frustrated by the payphone call. Hence the hookers and a similar montage to when Kim originally left. His course of action is very similar after both events.
looks fine to me
y’all nitpicking at this point counting wrinkles
Not a nitpick. Doesn’t bother me at all
Fire ep. But im sorry, BCS is not better than BB.
I don't think it was ever supposed to be
I don’t understand how any of this is “fan service”. It’s a continuation of Saul’s story, in which he is integral & directly involved with how powerful Heisenberg became.
Showing events he was apart of in BB from his perspective is not “fan service”, especially when the entire show is about showing everything that lead up to him becoming Gene Takovic.
It’s also a great choice from the writers to show the parallels, and how he hasn’t changed at all, it is who he is, which has been a theme of the show from the very beginning.
BCS is "fan service" itself so yeah it's like...okay?
Were you trolling when u posted that song that u said was gonna be used??? I tried to find anything about that leaking on the internet and couldn’t find anything and realised you might have been joking
I wasn't and now it seems a little more plausible. I'm still 50/50 on it regarding the source.
missing todd
i f***ing love this scene so much
the juxtaposition of him singing that sweet song with a body in the back and a human prisoner next to it, him doing the honking motion at the truck, s*** says so much
he was respectful and sweet at times, but also did disgusting things without a second thought because he was such a natural criminal
also i watched an interview with him and aaron paul and they said the honking motion at the truck was completely improvised by jesse plemons (todd) which makes it even more genius
this scene has to be one the greatest movie scenes in modern film history
I actually loved that specific choice tbh
Seems like things are progressing so organically, slowly. Up until we see Saul and Kim in the empty office building after he first bought it
We think we are gonna see it all line up perfectly. It’s what we’ve been expecting to see take shape for 6 seasons
but then after Kim leaves him, we cut abruptly and everything has already happened
It was definitely jarring but I thought it was such a bold choice
yeah for sure jarring. i’m starting to get with it more and more, especially after the last episode, i was starting to get worried for a sec lol

I love the dialogue of “why don’t YOU turn yourself in”
Because it is quite hypocritical of Kim to be telling Jimmy to do this when she definitely didn’t

Talk about missing the point
Talk about missing the point

its just saul -> mike -> gus
there is no other guy. garbage show
I don't think he was being fully honest when he said that. I thought that at the time too, It was just Saul being showy.
