krishna boundi agree it's unrealistic but so is like a ton of stuff that happens in the BB/BCS continuity. character studies are meant to convey themes or ideas more than they are supposed to be reflections of real behavior, even if their settings are grounded in reality. it's clearly making a point about redemption and retribution, not literally re-enacting how people would act if they were Saul irl
We literally have a chemistry teacher turned d*** kingpin who made a 9/11 tier event with the airplane crash in this universe and people are crying at unrealistic about Jimmy living it out in Jail

damn it just hit me that the chuck flashback is jimmys time machine moment, it was the one time chuck tried to connect with jimmy and talk about law stuff with him without an ulterior motive and jimmy turned it down, in the end all he really wanted was to make things right with his brother
What’s crazy is that scene takes place literally ONE DAY before the first episode of BCS. Jimmy says “I forgot to bring financial times maybe I’ll bring it tomorrow” and in the first episode of BCS, when Jimmy brings Chuck his stuff Chuck says “ooh financial times thanks”
