LeGoodman has 0 real won cases

    • Could only get into University of American Samoa (not a real lawyer)
    • Saved by Huell and Chuck choked (Chicanery)
    • Couldn’t get Irene to settle, lost of case to HHM (Sandpiper)
    • Biggest ever client got caught by DEA and robbed by Neo-Nazis, all money laundering discovered
    • Choked away deal with prosecution during finale (not a clutch lawyer)

Saul Midman won his only cases with petty criminals and by conning the court. He wouldn’t last a day in Chuck McGOAT’s era

Just rewatched breaking bad and bcs up until season 5 over the past month and jesus christ they are unmatched. I really hate Gus and Walt lmao

Lalo is also top 10 tv characters for me. It was nice having a major character speak some real spanish other than Bolsa

Wow, you’ve finally understood the entire point of the show. Good job my brother, are you a detective in real life? If not you should be.

Yeah they’re more likable which makes them less complex / less interesting to watch. Not that BCS characters ain’t great, but Breaking Bad is Breaking Bad.

True just stating the facts by my point of view

It makes sense Saul's life being nowhere near AS crazy before he got involved

Disagree, when I say likable I mean interesting.

BCS cast > BB cast in my opinion

literally every character in BCS is enjoyable to watch even throughout their low points. Like even the small roles are interesting characters

for BB, despite being well written and acted, there’s moments in Jesse, Skylar, even Walt’s arcs that are straight up drag and are dull at times when watching

the writers didn’t truly hit their stride until late S4-S5 of BB, and that carried over throughout the entirety BCS

That’s wild to me, I’d say more like S3

What parts of Walt and Jessie’s arcs did u find boring?

The biggest flaw with BCS is that the Gus / Mike stuff is totally disconnected from the Saul stuff for the majority of its run.

Makes sense since its a prequel to brba though. It all fully connects from there on. Would be forced to make saul a part of the cartel stuff from the beginning

I’m moreso suggesting that it should have had less of Mike and Gus. Their stuff felt really padded out. I just don’t understand how BCS can be better when its so reliant on our knowledge of Breaking Bad. To me, Gus is one of the best characters on Breaking Bad, and his presence is way less impactful on BCS.

This idea that the characterization and development is just so much more nuanced has never rang true to me.

Only boring stuff in BB is the stuff with Marie shoplifting that went nowhere or walter dealing with hid stupid ass angsty son, stuff that gets fast forwarded on rewatch

Bcs has endless boring arcs like that crusty old man that refuses to sell his house or the old ladies shunning the other old lady for getting new shoes
