Towards the end seeing him on screen made my blood boil

He was an amazing character and it tied it all up.

I just hated him as he clearly resented his brother and tried he absolute best to stop him reaching his potential

I feel you and agree. I asked cause that scene did hit me in an unexpected way and being so far removed from that character at that point made me look at their relationship from a bit of a different perspective. That whole situation is just tragic from all sides.

The scene with his mum completely summed him up. In the end he never liked/was jealous of Jimmy and if he could find a way to hurt him he would do it.

He only helped him get out of jail because he could basically own him in his firm.
