LisaI said in my post plenty of outlandish things took place on the show. I wouldn’t care if he used machine gun robot to kill those fools in season 3
But to have an outlandish thing be the culmination of 5 seasons was not the play. The finale of the series is robot gun vs nazis? Come on. And having those nazis pop up from out of nowhere in the last season to be the big bad was also not the play. They had no development as villains, they had no presence prior to season 5. They just show up halfway through the season and start doing whatever.
id argue walter was really the bad guy of that season and they were more of the effect of that. we've seen him make countless mistakes because of his pride throughout the whole show so him linking up with todd and those nazis was another instance of his greed getting the best of him.
we got all the info about them since they were related to todd and we saw they were more than capable of doing s*** as they killed all those dudes connected to gus in such short time. it also shows how low walter has sunk since he was willing to do business with nazis but i digress

Personally i think the finale is rocking awesome and i wouldnt have it any other way
