as far as we know, brockhampton was out of their contract november 2022 and a whole year later, niggas are just now starting rollouts that shouldn’t even be rollouts, it should just be dropping the album first then go from there

kevin has the most support so he’s the only one where i think its plausible to do a rollout and attempt to build hype because he has to live up to major label expectations. everyone else should really be grinding it out rn

i think in situations like this, when you’re used to the group dynamic with a smart leader and you walk in the game with management and support, once you’re alone, you’re paralyzed by your inexperience as a solo artist. same situation plagued odd future, asap mob etc

rza pushed for wutang members to get their own solo deals at different labels and pursue solo careers and that proved to be a great strategy. i don’t get why nobody wants to attempt that now
