All these proxy wars drained us , all of it was merely child’s play and playground bullying because we we’re bored. There was nothing going on and we caused more pain then healing

They were even more involved in the 80s.... one can argue america was built on slavery and blood money. Fiddling around playing with lives wherever the resources were. Americans ancestry goes back to Colonials after all

    ooh nooo

War in the Middle East was just fueled by illogical paranoia

how old are you? there wasnt much "illogical" about the paranoia after 9/11 (and i say this as someone who isn't American). It was a scary f***ing time and I think the average person was entitled to feel that way (although the media didnt help things that's for certain)

The war in Iraq was s*** and an exercise in imperialism, but the war in Afghanistan was justifiable (although probably could have been avoided)

nothing about it was illogical, the united states needs the petrodollar to be the superpower, otherwise it would collapse pretty fast. capitalism needs imperialism once the rate of profit sinks

No one thought China would be where it's at rn in the 90s. dumb cacs could never believe that a non white country could become this rich/powerful

Don’t have to argue it, that’s just the truth

it was scary for the layman who didn't understand that 9/11 was a direct effect of American foreign policy in the Middle East

simultaneously, the United States government has expressly stated through declassified documents that an imminent threat to the United States by extremist hijackers was apparent as early as 1993, and yet they didn't act in any way, because they knew they could push an angle after the event which would help further strengthen the power of the state

china is as bad as america, each for similar and different reasons

America is too focused on making itself out to be bigger than it really is. In doing so domestic policy, which in itself is the root to foreign policy, is a rotting iteration of its foreign self
