I know I am terribly late, but I just saw American Psycho for the first time last night. I ABSOLUTELY 10000% ADORED THE MUSIC SCENES WHERE HE TALKED ABOUT HUEY LEWIS, PHIL COLLINS, GENESIS, & WHITNEY HOUSTON. 15/10 SCENES.

The way he spoke about each artist & album was so mesmerizing. This film was wonderful all around, but these scenes specifically were something very special to me & I’m sure Music heads everywhere

love the story of how everyone on set thought he was gonna be awful then once the movie came out everyone was surprised at how good bale was in it

The book has 3 entire CHAPTERS which are monologues just talking about these albums - each chapter felt like a gigantic s***post.
