I'm 25 and desperately wanting to go back to college. I don't like seeing the sentiment that college education is JUST paying for a degree because when I was younger I thought the same and it's bitten me in the ass.
Going to College gives you a lot of opportunities to be around like minded people, You have structure in your life, You're studying, You're building connections, You have access to a place of learning and it's just a good environment to put yourself into. I don't think the education is laughable at all. I suppose it depends on the teacher.

Yes, A lot of people f*** up and take on a lot of debt and have remorse. but there are pathways to success in college. It's a good place to be and I really f***in hate how we discourage people from going because of student debt fear mongering.
