I've been obsessed with this German song Gut Genug off instagram reels

it has me thinking about the way non-english music has grown in popularity here in the US, with acts like bad bunny, k-pop groups etc becoming some of our biggest commercial successes

I feel like attitudes toward non-english music used to be a lot more dismissive. Like, no way I'm gonna listen to some s*** that isn't in english

but I'm curious as members of ktt how open are you to non-English music? Especially if you're not bilingual or multicultural. How much does the potential to understand the lyrics affect your willingness to dive in

I think beats and melody’s have just progressed largely to a point that the dislike for the different language has kinda been nerfed exponentially today cause the sounds just that good
