Based your answer in the past 5 years. We had a discussion in one of my classes with some other nationalities that 4th of july is just a big as christmas in USA depending on the location.

christmas 100%. look at all the ad campaigns and how literally almost every store and restaurant decorates. sure some do for july 4th, but its nothing like christmas
