I was thinking about this recently. Like an artist sets up a patreon page for his fans and could also give them access to a private Instagram for lives and snippets too. It would help a lot of independent artists too so they don’t get f***ed by a label. I know M.I.A has a patreon but I don’t know if any others. Matter seems likes a cool platform for artists too I’ve seen a few of them move on to there. Also artist specific discords are cool idk if they profit off it tho.
