I dont think Ana's accent is terrible. It's a bit noticeable but who cares, she's a great actress regardless.

The point I was trying to make is that it's only natural for her to have an accent when speaking english, since she wasn't raised in an english speaking household. It's something she has no control over. I don't think it's comparable to Keanu's situation.

Right, gotcha. Yea I'm curious about the final product. Maybe it won't even be that noticeable. She prolly sounds better than in the trailers. I think I'm spoiled with the British actors like Idris Elba who can put on a different accent like it's nothing.

This is a biopic though, marylin monroe didnt have a cuban accent. Most of the time it slides because the actors are playing fictional characters, not real people. They couldve casted someone who didnt have an un-hidable accent lol. We gotta admit the casting was lowkey done because she’s a big name
