I don't think it's that the guy is teflon, but the way he makes his living he's built a audience or whatever that doesn't give a f*** about anything negative said about him

its crazy that good benefits at a job hold so much power man. cuz yea i might only be pulling 18/hr salary at my current gig but the healthcare benefits are just insane, $0-$20 copays for almost everything and when i was in the hospital for over two weeks back in 2021 they really held it down for me too

its def not blackmail and his team is incredibly stupid for trying to portray it that way. i think the text is dumb though. i don't blame her for it at all, its not an individual thing by any means, but imo it really shows how bad the communication and self-regulatory skills of younger generations are. obv people respond to trauma in irrational ways but sending something like that to someone is just so completely detached from reality its crazy. thats like literally a tweet or IG comment somehow wrapped into someone communicating a traumatic response to an offender
