I think people are overblowing just how many people know/knew of Andrew Callaghan or Channel Five outside of the internet. I think him only being on YouTube has a lot to do with the lack of pushback, plus he's been AWOL since the allegations which might be explained by rehab; He seemed to believe alcohol to be a big influence in his terrible decision making.

Ultimately, I think the apology was as good as it'll get for these sorts or things; I doubt Channel Five will come back and if it does, it'll be without Andrew in a different format.

Do I think he took full accountability?
Not sure, and I don't believe it my place to ask anyway. I think most of us just hope it never happens again. Whether good or bad, his actions are what matters here.

I think the opposite. He will be back and will get the views. Youtubers after cancellations usually get bigger after an apology. He may not get anywhere with deals with network TV anymore though
