LOS ANGELES, July 27 (Reuters) - Dozens of former Republican and Democratic officials announced on Wednesday a new national political third party to appeal to millions of voters they say are dismayed with what they see as America's dysfunctional two-party system.
The new party, called Forward and whose creation was first reported by Reuters, will initially be co-chaired by former Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang and Christine Todd Whitman, the former Republican governor of New Jersey. They hope the party will become a viable alternative to the Republican and Democratic parties that dominate U.S. politics, founding members told Reuters.
People be like two parties sure is predictable and nobody is helping us but then someone tries to start a third party and people be like naw this stupid. S*** never gonna change for Americans until too late

There are already existing other parties that are actually good
“not left, not right, but forward”
meaningless bullshit for crypto nerds who think they’re above it all and transcending party politics
literally just semantics to convince apolitical people to continue the neoliberal status quo

We should all be above party politics
We should all be above party politics
true, in that we should be focused on class politics. but techbro yang ain’t it

Yang specifically is not it I agree
I thought he already did this stupid s***
i think this is kind of what he campaigned on when he was running y for president (working across parties) but it wasn’t an official party

idk in america i feel like s*** will never change until both parties find some kind of equilibrium.
american politics is too far right to go left and the people are too left to go all the way right
at some point we there has to be some kind of concessions
now im not saying compromise, to simplify it im saying something like, abortion should be legal/women should have control over their bodies, let’s make abortion legal, and we will concede on some point for you that doesn’t infringe on personal rights/something that doesn’t cause physical/mental/emotional harm to others
or maybe the bridge will even make it so we get more leftist type policies without moving too far one way, idk
all i know is one extreme of either will never work in america. something has got to give

They know how to use information as a weapon and the public can't see through it all.
The only message you'll ever get the large majority on board for is eating the rich.

There's a lot of third parties. The system is set up for them to fail.
