Yes I know lol I posted that 4 months ago
I didn't realize this thread had old replies from 2022 lol.
Idk how you can live with the battery if it's that old. I was like you with the SD card years ago but internal storage is so much quicker plus phones with bigger storages can be had for great prices nowadays too
My battery lasts 8-5, so I just charge it before I leave work when I don't use it. I also use my PC more for entertainment, so it's basically only reading manga or ktt on my phone for low battery usage.
Also no?
It's $1700 for a 1 TB phone

$1300 for half the storage. Yikes.

Yeah so I was about to recommend you a Sony Xperia smartphone but since prices that are $1000 and more is a no-no for you then nevermind even though the Sony Xperia smartphones are the last ones to both have a SD cart slot and a headphone jack port... But if you're interested so would I recommend you getting one if these 2 things do matter a lot to you
It's a shame that they make majority of the camera sensors in phone but they never have the best camera or even close to it
Sometimes I be wanting an Xperia though since they are the only ones with the 3.5mm left and I got a grip of studio headphones
Thoughts famo? It sounds good to me... Now please do it the right way Sony!

I'm on Samsung for both my private and work phone
The updates are usually very boring (unless it's a OneUI major update) and I like them for that
Previously I had a midrange Xiaomi phone but I wasn't a big fan of the continuous feature changes through MIUI.
They also introduced regressions sometimes, and since the updates had a random cadence (not every month like Google or Samsung) you wouldn't know when the fix would come, if ever.
Ex: in the final update for my phone they introduced a small bug in the notification panel (sometimes it would become transparent/with no background for no reason) and since it was the last planned update, they never bothered to fix it

Man that's what I'm getting to. It's the random bugs that has me worried and knowing the next update could take months or they just won't bother to fix
I wanted a Xiaomi cause their lineup is like Samsung still making compact sized flagship. Low-key I miss using normal size phones again. I'm not pick Samsung cause they still stuck with slow charging

Yes Sony so far... Xiaomi, OnePlus etc. is nice too but yeah I do prefer Android smartphones that still do support a 3.5mm headphone jack, expandable memory and all of that nice stuff so yeah it's Sony for me so far

I've got an s23 ultra and Samsung updates are non stop nowadays for flagships but I mostly just ignore them. The phone functions perfectly fine as is. I get people want updates for phones but it's never been a huge concern for me
Just ordered the s23+ with free buds2 pro earphones
Time to put the s10 to rest!
