The majority of anime fans are close-minded and its pretty disappointing considering how varied the medium is: all of the community's discussion usually gets focused onto the 2-4 popular shows of the season which all happen to very similar to each other or their predecessors (e.g. shounen jump action anime, self-insert harem anime, isekai anime).

Also, "is this anime worth watching?" is a stupid question. How the hell am I/the person you're asking supposed to know if it's worth it for you? We don't even know what you like/dislike in your anime. Spending 20 minutes to watch the first episode is far more worthwhile in getting your answer than taking answers from internet strangers who might not even have the same tastes as you.

I was gonna come in here and say TTGL is massively overrated, even though I thoroughly enjoyed the first 8-9 episodes. I can't say it's overrated, but it made me realize, as a mecha anime fan, I really don't like super mecha anime.

Idea of "Dragonball being overrated" is in itself overrated and a very misleading take.

Thematically speaking, Rock Lee is the real main character. And the final arc just proves that Neji was right the whole time.
