love the show but
for someone that jus rec'd dororo ik u not talking bout drops in animation quality..
dororo at least looked pretty good for all of the first cour, it wasnt until the second cour that it took some dips due to some weird directing choices
hells paradise looked like some doodoo caca right out the gate

Crunchyroll is the only subscription I have right now. I am using it watch Gintama. I want a more serious show but I am having trouble finding one.
a brief tier list (bold means I read not watched):
SS: Chainsaw Man, Gintama, HxH,
S: VInland Saga, The 7 Deadly Sins, Jojo, D. Grey Man
A: Cowboy Bepop, Berserk, AoT szn 1-3, Death Note
B: Samurai Champluu, Neon Genesis
C: Naruto, bleach, Yu Yu Hakusho
F (DNF): Dr. Stone, AoT szn 4, My Hero Academia
I recently started one where the protagonist was thrown in a trash pit, and Kaiju no. 8, but neither maintained my interest. just wondering if based on this you guys have any recs.
Kill la kill, toppa tengen Gurren lagan, or stein's gate.
yea i saw thats been popular to say but nah.
anime fans deadass spoiled they wanna act like that jont looked like absolute s*** or something.
enjoyed the story and writing much more than first s1 half of jjk. animation obviously is the bread and butter of the latter.
Fair, story wasn’t doing much for me and the characters less so except for the main and the girl.

it’s time for run with the wind..
@Tranquility
Hype but also a little concerning. Who is even left to handle this? Furukawa is doing Love Cobra. Koide is doing Sayonara Lara.
Fire force was a wild ass episode
aren’t they going a bit too fast with already revealing 7 pillars?? And if Waka for whatever reason turns into his doppelgänger who gon check him?

They said they were going to go very fast through chapters on final episodes
How does it have so much soul
What the hell? Yuki Kamiya out of Mappa jail

They apparently have to adapt 8 chs per ep to close out the show

I'd like to think Shinya Iino (Takopi's Original Sin director). He directed Episode 1 of Revue, but that's wishful thinking since I think he'll stay at Enshiya
feels like golden kamuy doesn't translate that well into anime, or maybe the adaptation just isn't that great. i read the manga last year and absolutely loved it. so far the first 2 episodes of s5 have been pretty underwhelming which is disappointing since i really enjoyed this part in the manga and was super excited to see it animated. i'll keep watching just cause of how much i enjoyed the story and characters but i was hoping for more tbh
sorta on the same note, aoashi definitely works better as anime than a manga. i've been reading the manga and it's kind of a slog to get through. even though i loved the anime, the manga just isn't connecting in the same way. the amount exposition and soccer theory really slows everything down and i don't remember the anime feeling like that at all. some of the humor and moments between ashito and hana still hit but the rest just really isn't doing it for me unfortunately. i hope tms does a good job with s2 cause i won't be continuing with the manga but i'd still love to see the story unfold
damn i didnt know trigun was back, s1 was pretty good iirc
