Really enjoyed Kuroko’s Basketball S1. Enjoyable and entertaining. Melodramatic like real basketball. The characters and moves are fun and the dynamics are well done. Good show 8/10.

I read a couple of chapters after the fact, but I felt like dropping it. It’s just not the same knowing Miura isn’t the one writing it anymore. There’s always this feeling that what I’m reading is somewhat inauthentic.

the manga is fantastic, one of my favorites. incredible art, hilarious humor, the characters are all so well written and once you get past the slow start it's paced beautifully. i was absolutely hooked while i was reading it

the anime unfortunately doesn't do anything to elevate the source material. it's pretty much just the manga panel for panel, with basically nothing expanded on and the animation is between subpar and average at best. i found it to be very disappointing and i've only watched the most recent season, i've heard the earlier seasons struggle even more

I don’t really remember the earlier chapters of the manga but I’m kinda disappointed in the pacing of the Witch Hat anime, feels like its way slower than it should have been. Next week is definitely going to end on some cliffhanger and I feel like that shouldn’t have been the case
