Time to finally read this

saw the Noname thread acting like it was an album thread & that was the last straw after years of watching the Griselda thread stifle all releases from the collective

polar opposites s2 8.5/10 - i love all these characters so damn much. already posted before but the sheer amount of charm and heart packed into every episode is unbelievable. a personal modern day classic

smoking behind the supermarket 8/10 - fantastic adaptation. i think the gimmick could get stale but as of now i'm loving it. the relationship between sasaki and yamada is so pure and heartwarming

ghost in the shell 8/10 - even though this is more faithful to the manga, i think i prefer the tone of sac and oshii's movies but science saru without a doubt knocked it out of the park. every episode is beautiful and the vibrancy of the colors makes every scene pop. i'm not really familiar with the manga so idk how much there is to adapt but i'd like to see science saru continue with this version

elusive samurai s2 7.5/10 - every episode has so much creative and expressive animation and the small bits of live action or puppetry just adds to how surprising the visuals and gags can be. narratively it's significantly weaker than s1 though

jaadugar 7/10 - i can't get past the pudgy, giant handed characters. everyone looks the exact same, no matter age or gender. also for how big of a part slavery plays in this story it seems like the topic is almost entirely ignored? i guess because the story takes place from sitara's perspective we're supposed to view it as just a fact of her life but idk, it just feels odd. also haven't found the narrative to be anywhere near as interesting as orb or apothecary diaries, which it's most often compared to. score is almost entirely reflective of the visuals

grand blue s3 6.5/10 - an unfortunate step down from s2. didn't find this arc to be that funny or interesting. it was building to something with aina and iori and it's kinda just fallen flat

bleach 5.5/10 - easily the worst part of the thousand year blood war arc. nonstop yapping about bullshit and every episode feels like its 40 minutes long. the animation is arguably a step down from previous cours too, which makes so sense since this part is basically entirely action focused. they've put together 1 good episode and for that it gets an extra .5
