There’s a few shows that make me feel like there are actually stakes at risk and this is one of them. I actually care about a lot of the characters. Don’t give a fluff about that cop tho

The story also surprised me by how emotional it is. Yes, the fight scenes are spectacular, but for me the characters of Mob and Reigen made the show. I might just rewatch it before the new season comes out.

Man, I was convinced to give the show a fair chance, and I did (even knowing how much of a creep the manga author is). The story is compelling, the world-building is great, the music is fantastic, and above all, the horror elements are masterfully done - unsettling in an almost surreal way. These elements appeal to me immensely, but unfortunately the completely unnecessary and inappropriate sexual components present in the story gross me out to no end. A damn shame if anything.
