Yeah I enjoyed the show but it felt a bit unfocused at times, and the characterization of some characters could have been deepened. Ending is memorable tho (gave me slight Devilman vibes, except *much less* impactful)

I was really enjoying TYBW and I have about ~50 chapters left but man did it fall apart in the last 50 chapters There were still some great fights but the overall pacing completely stagnated. This section of chapters won't be animated for a while but it's def the part that needs the most work.

Anime must fix some issues but unfortunately not everything will be fixed. Like fam, Byakuya should have died.
Plain, Kubo pulled an inverse Neji with that one.
Too many characters on screen made the narrative a mess and few expressed their potential.

I'm not someone who usually cares about fake out deaths but I swear there's been like over a dozen times where Renji, Byakuya, Ichigo or another character's spirit energy disappears and every single character has a reaction like ":o I can't believe they lost, they're dead" and then like 3 chapters later they comeback basically at 100%

I don't expect a lot of the story problems to be fixed, just mainly the pacing. Hopefully they cut a ton of the expository dialog and keep the story moving at a fast pace.

Damn near every fight in that last act is wrapped up off screen prob bc Kubo wrote every sternreitter to be massively OP I’m praying this adaptation fleshes this arc out

Eh, csm just as flat in some areas especially with characters. It works for mind numbing fun like Cyberpunk
