I just started season 1 omg lol. I'm barely on episode 20. I need to at least finish the first 50 canon episodes and watch some recaps to catch up to this blood arc

Eh fam been going to same lately but I'm thinking to drop it after 5 episodes.
I can't decide if the story itself is bad and when I read it it was nostalgia that made me fall in love with the manga or simply the anime is a bad adaptation and it would be better to re-read the manga and quit before the last arc to watch the last season.
Soundtrack is goated, no one says otherwise, but pacing is kinda off and the animation doesn't do justice to Kubo art.
And by fans this is considered the best portion of the anime along with the following arc

From fans opinion the first 60 episodes are great, 3 chapter per episode iirc but when hueco mundo starts...
Fights are interrupted by talks or made longer in an annoying way like dbz ones.
Consider that Kubo released a lot of big ass panels so some chapters don't add that much to the plot (this became more a thing in the last arc but I'm sure upcoming anime pacing will be cool).
did you enjoyed these 20 episodes? to me it's a generic monster of the week so far and orihime is so annoying, kinda like a diet-sakura

I'm having fun with it. I really like the characters a lot themselves. I'm used to MotW shows, so it doesn't really bother me with it starting like that.

Motw is fine, but that pacing gets worse than One Piece real f***ing quick lmao
