also agree that other mangas should get an adaptation with that kind of production value too. ive been wishing for fist of the north star to get that treatment for a while now

EinfinetI just started code geass after getting caught up on AoT and I was not expecting so many shared motifs between the shows, but perhaps that’s a given for shonen
While they aren’t my favorites, I think Serial Experiments Lain and Haibane Renmei are two of the more original shows I’ve come across so far. Made in Abyss too (still gotta see the second season)

I loved the ending between hana/mugi tbh they both needed to find something else and what they did in the past wasn't something that would just disappear so they had to move on - wish they spent more time focusing on that ending; the whole narumi/akane situation is what felt rushed. Made it seem like the guy changed her entire life by asking her one question/letting her cheat on him and on top of that only loved her because she had long hair like his mom??
