It’s crazy the amounts of banger OPs this show brought 1st one or 2nd to last was def the best op
Flashbacks to staying up till 10 I think to watch it on Toonami and talk about it with your friends the next episode
Remember when the chunin exam arc happened and for the next week or two anyone that missed a day was capping saying they ears started bleeding just cuz that s*** happened to rock lee 😭

It’s crazy the amounts of banger OPs this show brought I remember downloading individual eps off limewire because I didn't know wth youtube or animesites were back then

I prolly need to watch the last arc animated to get into the mood of things.
My quick review:
-Art and character designs are great.
-Plot is straightforward and easy to understand even with all the added extra lore fluff. Plot holes really only come in with the lore, but it's not that big a of a deal.- Ichago has great characterization along with some of the other important cast members as well. A lot of them a simple and flat since the cast is so big, but the character interactions are really fun.
-Some of the best villains to get mad at for sure.
-Power scaling is really easy to get compared to a lot of other Shonen shows. It's not as ridiculous as Dragonball. Everyone still has something to contribute.
-Some of the villains still have a menacing feeling even though I already know the outcomes of the battles from the anime.
-Some battles just drag a bit too long omg. It's refreshing to see long battles, but I can see it be annoying as f*** waiting for a weekly release.
-Sometimes the values and judgements of how battles should be won kind of get annoying. Tired of the good guys pick and choose when to kill someone VS they don't based on how virtuous the author feels.
-Romance between Orihime and Ichago is one of the worst one-sided romances I've seen. I get that Ichago is a bad ass, but at least do something a bit flirty or give the girl a hug lol.

im still in the hundreds - Ichago has great characterization along with some of the other important cast members as well. A lot of them a simple and flat since the cast is so big, but the character interactions are really fun.

I considered reading it with the end getting animated but I can’t be bothered to read that long s*** right now
I watched the first 20-25 episodes, then just read everything else. I didn't have time to sit down and watch everything vs reading chapters in between works and tasks.
S*** is breeze tbh
