I love how a chill slice of life about girls climbing mountains attracts some of the best talents in the industry. Already got appearances from Tanaka and Aninari in the other episodes. Fugo showed up this week, and now china and Saito are making appearances next week.

The first half does a good job building the characters and introducing everything. The second half is just amazing. The animation, the tones they set and directions they go with the story take the show to a different level

I also gotta mention the character intros/transformations. They just get better and better throughout

And that was only the first season
