I love this Gundam anime so much man

which one? just finished Unicorn and that s*** got me buzzing

Unicorn was def the best Gundam i’ve seen so far, had a ton of stuff to like and was just all around more enjoyable than Gundam 1979. now i’ma reward myself with an AC series, Iron Blooded Orphans

I also definitely wanna check out Turn a Gundam (those mech designs are so dope) and Witch from Mercury

Witch from mercury, I did start UC a while ago but I’m still only on Zeta and been kinda slackin

I predict that Spy x Family will have a lot of staying power

It's cute, it's funny, it's entertaining to watch, the characters are likable, the stakes are low and realistic and they let the story breathe

I can picture a lot of people I know that will like this and never watched anime before, or typically watch a different style of anime, and I recommend it irl a lot

This is one of the anime I'll remember in ten years I think. Hope I'm right

Not a bold prediction, it’s already the biggest manga in Japan and the anime is highly loved as well

It’s just universally a really wholesome and fun show. I love it, but it’s not top 3 for me this year

Totally understand that this would also just be a show anybody could watch and appreciate though

I didn't really watch a lot of Anime that was released this year (only 5 to be exact). Lycoris is my AOTY pick, even though it's not amazing or anything. It just got me back into watching Anime weekly again and i was looking forward to watching the upcoming episode the most every week.

Gundam might become AOTY tho but it's not finished, so i don't want to just give it that title straight away.

would highly rec anyone that likes witch from mercury but hasnt seen any other gundams to peep the UC timeline its quite long but defintely worth the journey

I was actually really enjoying it but life got in the way and I had to put it on pause. Haven't watched pretty much any anime at all this year tbh

Does Monster really have the best written anime antagonist of all time? I keep hearing mfs say this, and I kinda want to check it out for that fact alone

I would never go as far as to call anyone is the best written ___ of all time because it's all opinions right but I think Monster is pretty worth watching or reading.

I don't tend to commit to things longer than 24~ episodes but Monster was like all I watched for 2-3 weeks my senior year of highschool because it was so interesting

Have to revisit this but yeah, Johan is a pretty complex antagonist

is manga better or anime better ?

i wouldnt say hes THE best written anime antagonist but hes up there for sure + monster is very solid as well

monster is always a slow burn story, i prefer manga pacing overall
