Shinji Hashimoto is a very skilled key animator often employed on scenes with Production IG and Studio Ghibli

Hashimoto is often mistaken for Shinya Ohira, whom he frequently works with and both of their styles are very similar.

Both animators approach animation with a surrealist touch to them, making their scenes feel incredibly avant-grade as opposed to more traditional on model movement (Hashimoto has a slightly more realistic take).

While his scenes don’t reach the insane amount of abstraction an Ohira cut can, Hashimoto’s skills are still undeniable and leave a mark by having some of the most memorable sequences ever
