episodes being overly cute was my problem with k-on too. bocchi has cute girl s*** too but not to the extreme that was k-on lol. it's still very much about the band playing music and other band-related activities as well as bocchi's social anxiety problems

Watched the first 2 eps of bocchi when they dropped, but during that time I also read a lot of manga with introvert/social anxiety type mains and those type of characters started to piss me tf off lol.

Finally watched the Bocchi finale. Man, that was the best seasonal full length TV anime series I've seen in I don't know, 8 years? I know I haven't seen much anime in the grand scheme of things but Bocchi is definitely going in my top 5.

Umehara is a god-tier animation producer. He's got a great eye for young talent and he's got connections out the ass to an assortment of talented individuals. It's not a coincidence at all that DogaKobo has fallen off a cliff ever since he left them. I'm riding or dying with Umehara and his team no matter where they go.
