Heartcatch PreCure - 9/10

One of the most thematically cohesive shows I have ever watched. There is not a single wasted moment here. Everything is beautifully written and it all links back to the show's overarching themes. Plus it has a visual style that is bursting at the seams with personality as a nice bonus.

Fun fact: I'm actually the intended audience for this show. The two target audiences for PreCure are 4-9 year old girls and 19-30 year old men. Now that I look back on it, I guess its no surprise that there was such a disproportionate amount of old anime blogs that would have at least one article about whatever PreCure season they just finished watching. The only people watching PreCure in the West are grown-ass men and women who were around when anime blogs were relevant.
