designs have an Eva look but also harken back to Escaflowne somewhat and Tekkamen Blade, all series Yutaka Nakamura worked on and with that sick Masami Obari influence
They sort of have this humanoid look to them so it’s pretty cool. First 2 episodes just throw you in there with no idea if wtf is going on lol. So far the I like the vibe of this show. Colors and animation look nice.
i kinda hope this is the last or second to last season of bungo stray dogs i feel like the story is starting to get a little bit too convoluted for its own good
Starting Rahxephon. First episode was pretty good. I like the designs of “mechs” a lot reviews saying it steals elements from Evangelion but it got a romance tag so
I did not fw this show at all lmaoo. hope you enjoy it tho.
copped all of kinosaw man part 1
Just wait until you watch S3 man…
Just finished it! what a great season Gave me chills on a few occasions.
There was one thing that made me sad tho. In episode 9 I noticed that Coach Ukai's voice was different, so I looked it up, and it turns out the original VA died while the show was still airing
might have to give haikyuu another shot at some point
i tried watching it a few years ago but at that point i was new to anime and only cared for battle shonen and action heavy shows, so i only watched an episode or two before stopping lmao. i'd probably have much more of an appreciation for it now
Do you have to be born on January 1st to be an amazing animator? Four Bones adjacent staff members are born on that day: Norimitsu Suzuki, Toshiyuki Sato, Yuki Igarashi, and Hakuyu Go.
Even Mitsuo Iso and Osamu Tanabe

Wouldn't the same apply for the 31st if we get technical
wow ok, Welcome to the NHK is turning out to be surprisingly great. the animation is dope, the characters are so flawed but likeable, the plot and structure are pretty loose so each episode and scene has time to breathe, giving it an overall ambient/calming vibe. everything about it is real enjoyable 12 episodes in, hopefully it sticks the landing for the second half
@ragedsycokiller there a stream that you can rewind?
