didnt realize s2 finished i gotta binge all of it one day
it is not yet finished on japanese netflix i think they upload 1-2 weeks behind so i’m behind
Also I didn't know until now but Happy Birthday to Mahiro Maeda director of Blue Submarine No.6 and Second Renaissance.
A co director and animator for the original Evangelion series and Rebuild films. Maeda is the best at specializing in cinematic imagery, he is best known for animating Asuka's death in End of Evangelion with the striking framing of her getting speared
Maeda is pretty underrated within the core staff of Khara and Trigger and a lot of his storyboards are very imaginative. Think of him as Japanese Zack Snyder, but actually good
Maeda is an incredible storyboard artist providing some of the most detailed artwork
Early concept art of Gendo in 3.0 by Maeda was originally going to have his face burnt off but this was scrapped
About to jump into One Piece and was wondering if I should go Dub or Sub?
Gonna be watching on Netflix btw.

sub, the japanese va's are iconic
also, i shill this every time someone starts one piece, use one pace. it cuts out a ton of the filler that plagues later seasons and cuts the amount of episodes you need to watch by about half. but i guess only look into that if you really like watching it and are committed to catching up
Maeda's Artwork for Nadia

I don’t understand how Danmachi is an isekai.
Take away some of those elements and it would just be a great adventure / action anime.
morphe spazzed on this one....
