itâs cool. gunna keep getting a lot of s*** online since the manga ending was so polarizing, but the first season was dope, albeit a little too melodramatic sometimes

Thatâs true,
ah ok so itâs one of those.
Sometimes I like not being a manga reader for that reason lol. Question though does the anime ever change endings? I heard about TPN, but it seems like it was more of a condensed ending rather than alternate.

that usually only happens when the anime is ending but manga is still ongoing, so the production studio has to come up with their own ending
Might binge-watch the whole Urameshi vs Toguro fight instead of sleeping lmao.
Tomorrow I'm gonna push myself even harder in gym to achieve that arms of his. Toguro walked like a god so Tyler Durden, Patrick Bateman, Ryan Gosling, etc. could run following his path.

Crazy how much Kon's work got ripped off by Hollywood directors lmfao. Happened with nolan's fraud ass as well. And they both take credit for s*** Kon did way before them đ€đ€đ€
Started watching Bocchi the rock. I liked the music, the comedy. Hikori is funny. Hope her dream comes true. Promising first episode.

The same year in 2004, Hiramatsu would work on Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence. Gunplay wasnât exactly something Hiramatsu had done before, but his language for this type of sakura shows in spades. The last cut of a thug holding his gun up showâs Hiramatsuâs particular eye for detailed prop animation. sakugabooru.com/post/show/106485\. The POV shots of Batoâs gun would be later carried over by animator Hidetsugu Ito too.
For the next few years Hiramatsu would focus on key animation, and would serve more as a freelancer than a sole Gainax participant. Hiramatsu worked on Diebuster, Eureka Seven, Mushishi, Kemonozume, and Ghost in the Shell: Solid State Society. It wouldnât be until 2007 that more substantial sakuga would come out of him on Gurren Lagann. This show and Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt would be one of the last big projects for Gainax until the studio would slowly crumble apart, and a mass exodus of creatives (Hiramatsu included) would go to do their own things. If this was a way of going out on a bang, then a bang it was. Directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi, and even featuring key animation from him, the show was an insane love letter to mecha and would push the insanity and limits of what was possible. Hiramatsuâs role in the show would be assigned KA on several episodes being 2, 8, 15, 23, 24, and 26. Not only was KA in mind, but episode direction also specifically Episode 26. Hiramatsu isnât unfamiliar to episode directing, in fact he has directed several episodes on Gainax and non-Gainax shows around the time. His direction tends to lean in on one character too. Back on Diebuster it was Nono, FLCL it was Ninamori, Abenonbashi it was Munemune, and in the case of Episode 26 of TTGL it is Simon.
