I'm watching Hajime no Ippo rn and it's such a good show. Ppl hype up the fight scenes, but I also really enjoy the quieter moments of the story - I think that's when the writing really shines. I also appreciate how the author always gives Ippo's opponents some sort of depth and memorability.
