CARMENtried to get through the anime, but five episodes in i dropped it. the show had one animator who did every episode which is why I semi tuned in.
Did you watch White Album 1 or 2. The VN i read is White Album 2, I actually dont see that much discussion regarding the first one and it seems they aren’t really related.

i think overwhelming negative or positive feelings towards AOT are a result of misunderstanding the story/intent of the author. it’s a decent series that started off strong, but came to an extremely underwhelming, convoluted, and cliched conclusion.
