Kazusa and Setsuna I kneel

Finally got around to watching White Album 2 anime after finishing the VN. Peak romance im afraid. Adaptation missed out on quite a few scenes that show how manipulative and destructive Setsuna really was (and quite a lot of characterisation for the characters) but I really think the adaptation did the best it could with it only being 13 episodes long

Undead Girl Murder Farce was really good. Hatakeyama is a God. Love how the ex-Shaft guys still have that recognizable Shaft influence in their directing.

I read One Piece by physical copy and finally reached chapter 1044, Warrior of Liberation.
Luffy is Joyboy, unlocked Gear 5, and gets Toon Force power. I didn’t see any of those 3 things coming. Can’t even pick my jaw up.

As far as handling the power progression of protags go, Oda is unmatched. Only he has the vision and uniqueness to take such a lighthearted twist and turn for the finale of the most important battle in the series and actually pull it off damn well

I wish there was a lot more foreshadowing for the Gomu Gomus reveal because that caught me WAY off guard but I can still rock with it

Couldn’t even imagine a better power for Luffy if I tried. It perfectly captures Odas objectives for the character from the very beginning, giving him powers that could be used in comical ways to make people laugh. And what better zenith of power for this, than the f***ing toon force
