It's 100 Kanojo Sunday
100?
watching the Violet Evergarden movies today this first one is sweet. KyoAni is the GOAT at recognizing and capturing the exact vibe of every moment, from the music to the visuals to the dialogue, everything always just hits in their shows without feeling like they’re doing too much like some of the better studios (UFOTable lmao)
I ship them
using naruto headband as knee pads that’s real drip
My friend playing demon slayer in dub and Idk how I didn't get annoyed by zenitsu when I first watched demon slayer. Maybe cuz it was in sub? it shouldn't matter since they both screaming

Best thing about Fire Force is the design. Everybody their attacks and outfits all look nice asf.
Problem is the writing is so-so and was much better in Soul Eater.

Both him and Inosuke are redeemed once they tone down a little
Still annoying how every character is just one character trait amplified

Both classics. Feels like they finally captured how to best present Violet's story which they were kinda fumbling back during the tv series

idk i really enjoyed the og series. that episode they continue off of in the 2020 movie made me cry when the twist was revealed, i f***ing bawled which i never do lmao.
i feel like Violet just grew from the series to the movies, so she’s less awkward and more sure of what she needs to do in each situation. seeing the movies didn’t take away from the OG series for me anyways

Agree. My own gripe is with how her presence bears little weight in many of the episodic stuff that went down in the series and that many of the stories are just fine I guess? They don't hit as much as I expected them to be. I'd still give the series a good rating tho
Shoutout to this king!
Shoutout to fan translations in general tbh for taking time out of their own day to translate s*** for free
the hidden inventory arc in jjk s2 was actually good wtf. in only 5 episodes it managed to tell an infinitely more engaging story with more interesting characters than the entirety of s1 and the movie
