SnowBloodI'm not sure if it's the Three Days of Happiness author or someone who helped him with it but he or she has like a shared universe of many short LNs in the same form of storytelling (one of them being Parasite In Love and another getting an anime movie soon)
86 is f***ing goated I love it...monogatari tho, s***'s too weird, it's what scared me off of LNs some time ago...the narrative was so all over the place

Honestly, im mostly an online reader. Berserk and regular books are already taking up 60-70% of my space along with the comic books I had growing up
I even tried organizing em into multiple shoeboxes

I personally dont have that much of a history with it, growing up only a few 70s anime would still air in the 2000s and grendizer (or goldrake, how its called here) wasnt one of them. Its one of the go nagai creations ive yet to delve in, but when i'll do that i'll probably go with the manga
